Message to the Family: She will always be Mary Kay to me. We go way back to 4th grade where we became best friends that started and continued through high school. I have such fun memories and stories of the two of us that I will cherish. We remained friends but we got busy with life and raising kids. The best part is, that we found each other after many many years of being out of school. Our friendship started right back up like it was never lost. We have maintained our friendship over the years and would meet for lunch when I would get to come home. We would always get caught up again in each others lives. I recently had lunch with her before before her last battle and so glad we met. Lunches were not short, usually couple of hours of laughter, but we always had to say goodbye till my next time in town. I have loved this lady almost all my life and she has been one of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Mary Kay I will treasure our good times and feel blessed to have such found memories of growing up together. Mary Kay in our family was another sister. If I wasn't at her house she was at mine, and oh the stories I could share. I am so glad we found each other again after so many years. I will miss you dearly my friend you knew what being best friends was all about.
