Obituary for David Leon Bellamy
Mr. David Leon Bellamy, age 69, of Springfield, Missouri passed away on February 4, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
He was born on March 21, 1949 in Springfield, Missouri, the son of John Allen Bellamy and Gladys MaryEllen (Daniels) Bellamy.
David was a truck drive for BFI Waste Management in Springfield before his retirement a few years ago.
He enjoyed any time he could tinker with and work on cars. Most of all he enjoyed time with family and loved his grandchildren.
David is survived by his daughter, Florence MaryEllen Coffman; three grandchildren, Ashley, Chase & Jordan Coffman; his stepson, William Leroy Stark; four step-grandchildren, Nikki, Skylar, Tesla & Rain Stark; three brothers, Mackey Bellamy and his wife Bobbi, Jimmy Bellamy and his wife Glenda, and Mark Bellamy; one sister, Viola Adney and her husband Shike; many nieces and nephews and lots of friends.
David was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and six sisters.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Kingsway Freewill Baptist Church, 2615 N. Park Avenue, Springfield, Missouri 65803.
