The most amazing woman we know and could have ever been blessed with made her journey home on Sunday morning. Mama may you rest in peace and be happy. No more pain, no more sorrow, just pure sweet love and we will love you forever.
Evelyn was preceded in death by Loren Henry and Evelyn Elda Eagleburger; Gerald Slavens, Sr.; her siblings, Gene Henry (Punkin), Danny Alden, Sandra Mae, Jackie Leon (Bo Jack), Dennis Dean (Denny Dean) and a special friend Randy Enssey.
She is survived by Sharon Schlueter and family, Rhonda Cadle and family, Phyllis Slavens and family, Melissa Adams and family, Gerald Slavens, Jr. and family, Linda Jo Slavens and family and Daniel Leon Slavens.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street, Springfield, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home with Pastor John Stroup officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery in Springfield, MO.
